Our Charter

We will:

•Be an impartial voice for the science and research sector and a bridge to the greater public by providing science news in an easy-to-digest manner and accessible platform.

•Predominantly but not exclusively focus on Science news from WA.

•Strive for science news diversity, and cover alternative science news stories so as to be a service to many niche interests who are not considered by mainstream science publishing.

•Only be the first to break science news by virtue of discovering original content. We are not a reactive science news service and we do not cater to “science trends”.

•Provide the science community and public with an opportunity to discuss the article and share their comments with the online community.

•Strive to include links to the research and further information so the online community may access these of their own accord.

•Maintain editorial independence, free of commercial or political bias.

•Ensure quality, diverse and intelligible content reaches the widest possible audience via high quality editorial curation.

•Adhere to the Media Alliance Code of Ethics.
